Your Donation is committed to raising standards and upholding best practice when it comes to door-to-door fundraising. That’s why we’re proud to be registered with the Fundraising Regulator, an independent body that regulates charitable fundraising.
From building trust in our service to raising standards industry wide, we’ve compiled some of the benefits to show why Fundraising Regulator registration is so important.
Empowering you with the confidence to donate
Trust is integral to door-to-door collection. Door-to-door fundraising often gets some bad press – and sadly there are some bogus collectors out there.
That’s why having the seal of approval from the Fundraising Regulator – and a logo that we’re entitled to print on our bags and show you to prove that we’re registered – is a great way to build trust and demonstrate that we’re a legitimate fundraising business.
Raising more money for some incredible causes
Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for our inspirational partner charities, and your donations of pre-loved items translate into a vital source of income for them. What’s more, door-to-door collections are a positive way for you to get involved in supporting charities.
The Fundraising Regulator seal of approval means that – when you donate your pre-loved items to us – you know we’ll do as we say and donate a minimum of £100 for every tonne we collect. In doing so, you’re helping to raise money for some wonderful causes.
Boosting the profile of our charities
From Boot Out Breast Cancer to The Fire Fighters Charity and Starlight Children’s Foundation, we’re constantly inspired by our amazing partner charities. However, we know there are so many worthy causes out there – and you may not have come across ours yet.
When we distribute our bags – with their Fundraising Regulator seal of approval – we’re spreading the word about these fantastic charities, and hopefully inspiring you to give to them directly, as well as donating your pre-loved items to us.
